Terms of Service

Last updated: March 7, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChargeInstaller.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

ChargeInstaller is a directory that connects homeowners seeking EV charger installation with qualified installer professionals. We provide information, cost guides, and a platform for requesting quotes. We are not an installer and do not perform any installation work ourselves.

3. No Guarantee of Service

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any installer listed on our platform. While we strive to list reputable professionals, it is your responsibility to verify an installer's credentials, licensing, insurance, and references before hiring them.

ChargeInstaller is not a party to any agreement between you and an installer. Any disputes arising from installation services should be resolved directly between you and the installer.

4. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of cost estimates, rebate information, and other content on the Site. However, costs vary by location, home configuration, and market conditions. Rebate programs change frequently. Always verify current availability directly with your utility or government program.

Content on this Site is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional electrical, financial, or legal advice.

5. User Accounts and Listings

Installers who create listings on ChargeInstaller agree to provide accurate business information including company name, contact details, certifications, and service areas. Misrepresenting credentials or services may result in listing removal.

6. Quote Requests

When you submit a quote request, your contact information is shared with the selected installer(s). By submitting a request, you consent to being contacted by those installers regarding your project.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ChargeInstaller.com — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by ChargeInstaller or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site without permission
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with the Site's operation
  • Impersonate another person or business

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChargeInstaller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any installer services found through the Site. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChargeInstaller, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
